Geography and Science Can be Magic!

In Geography and Science Year One have been looking at the weather and the seasonal changes. They have been learning about the different types of weather for each season and how the day length varies. We had planned to explore the nature area for signs of spring, but the unseasonal weather conditions offered a wonderful opportunity to experience fresh snow.

All of the children were armed with clipboards and a snow hunt checklist. We had a few surprises on the way as we discovered deer footprints and a pattern of delicate bird prints. A magical experience!
