Year Six carried out an investigation into earthquakes. Using the knowledge they have gained during our topic on natural disasters, they were asked to create an earthquake-proof building using 100, 1 cm cubes. We then shook the desk and timed whose roof stayed on the longest. The winners were managed 28 seconds. The quickest to fall was a measly 2 seconds!
