Reception Class wrapped up warm for their expedition to the North Pole this week and discovered it was just around the corner from our playground! In class they had been learning about some of the coldest places on earth and when the snow and ice came to Bolton on Wednesday they could experience Arctic conditions for themselves.The frozen pond was of special interest as the children wondered how the tiny creatures could survive in such cold conditions. They were all glad they didn’t live in a pond!
