Year Two have been working hard this week in all areas of learning, but not least in their grammar lessons. They have shown understanding of and used a range of adverbs with the help of their pal Adil Adverb who just loves to hang out with Veronica Verb and describe what she does.

The children have described their friends actions using adverbs and recorded their work neatly. As if that wasn't enough, the children have also begun using similes to compare and describe nouns.

These skills are being applied in their writing to improve their overall use of the English Language. We truly have some authors in the making in Year Two!
