School culture and educational visits are critical at Clevelands

Regular educational visits are arranged to places of cultural, historical, geographical, and scientific interest. Your child will also visit theatres both locally and in and around Manchester as part of our school culture. Music is a strength of Clevelands with many children opting to learn one of the seven different instruments taught by our specialist teachers. You could enjoy seeing your child showcase their talents during one of our regular tea-time concerts!

A speech and drama specialist provides an opportunity for those who wish to take part in the LAMDA examinations to develop their dramatic talents. An early introduction to inspirational cultural experiences broadens horizons and will help your child develop new modes of expression and understanding.

French and Spanish are both taught with the latter offered as a club. There are also plenty of books available to read in our library.

“Children are sensitive to one another’s feelings and values, and they are proud to be part of the school community.” ISI Inspection Report, May 2015.
