The children in Reception Class and Year One were amazed to see butterflies emerging from their cocoons last week. Our pupils have followed this insect's lifecycle from welcoming the tiniest caterpillars to our school just a few weeks ago. 

After all the excitement of watching them grow and form into chrysalides, the children fell silent at the sight of a brand-new butterfly! Plenty of sugar water and fresh fruit is on hand to nourish the butterflies ready for release into our school grounds on a sunny and wind-free day.
