The experience consisted of ‘Bringing a rock pool from the British Isles into the classroom’.

As you can see from the delight on the children’s faces they were as excited as David Attenborough with this experience of the natural world. The ‘Aqualease Rock Pool Experience’ was delivered by highly experienced marine rangers to link in with many aspects of the national curriculum. It was a remarkable hands-on experience with the children learning some fascinating facts.They then had a chance to get up close and personal with species such as mussels, crabs, starfish and sea urchins. Amazing!  Such an incredible experience for us all to come into such close contact with these fascinating creatures. 

All the creatures were very calm and even seemed to enjoy the experience, they swam and walked around the tank happily, even with so many of us disturbing their peaceful swim!
