Ribble Discovery Centre
Year Four once again visited this beautiful part of the world in Lytham-St-Anne's where the RSPB have their Discovery Centre. They carried out work that linked directly to their Geography and Science topics.
In the morning they looked at coastal features such as the stunning salt marshes and mud banks, and went mud dipping. It was the squelchiest it had ever been. But they still found some amazing minibeasts.
In the afternoon, they completed a habitats trail around the Centre and Fairhaven Lake.
The children seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves and their behaviour was exemplary.
Well done Year Four.
