After reading the story of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ the Nursery children wanted to plant their very own 'beanstalk' - so that is exactly what they did.

They took some beans and planted them into the soil, gave them some water and placed them onto the window sill so that they will get plenty of sunlight.

The children keep checking to make sure they are growing. If you ask them they will tell you when the first shoots start to peep through the soil.

Who knows what we might find one morning.
