Reception Class have been investigating the properties of 2D and 3D shapes through a wide range of activities this week. They can recognise different 2D shapes by the number of sides and corners they have and especially enjoy spotting pentagons, hexagons and octagons!

The children named the 3D shapes they used in their model making tasks and could spot many 3D shapes around school on our 'Shape Detective' walk.
