Our chess team travelled to St. Maxientius, where they competed in Round 2 of the Bolton League. The matches were very intense, and the children showed incredible focus and concentration to produce our best ever results. For the second time running we won the B Team league, this time jointly, and at the half way stage our A team was leading but lost a couple of games on marginal points. Overall, we won 13 matches and drew 4 in our 24 games. A fabulous result. We are hoping too that some of the children will be invited to trials for the Manchester team in the near future. Well done children, this was the best of Clevelands on show.
