We've noticed quite a few Advent calendars appearing in classrooms and this was the starting point for our assembly this week. The children learned about some of the traditions of Advent and then looked at ways in which Christmas is celebrated by different families including our Clevelands Family.  Everyone agreed there was plenty to look forward to with parties, productions, theatre visits, Christmas music, crafts and a special Christmas lunch booked in the diary. Just as there are many different types of Advent calendars, so there are many different ways to celebrate and join together in a spirit of goodwill and happiness.
