Our Head Girl, Head Boy and their Deputies received our new playground sign in our assembly this week. The PTA commissioned the 'Mile a Day' sign as part of their work with 'Project Playground'.

The new playground markings include footprints to follow so that everyone can try to improve their physical fitness in a fun and friendly way.

The older children have already tried out circuits of the school grounds using their mile a day training for a sports warm up, a personal challenge to reach a personal best or just a friendly fun run.

Let's see how many children 'go the extra mile' to stay active, healthy and happy with their 'smile a day'!
