About Our Nursery

Where Creativity Blooms and Imaginations Soar

Welcome to Clevelands Nursery, where children aged 6 months to 4 years old discover, learn, and play in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our Nursery offers a range of activities and classes designed to support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Experienced teachers work closely with each child, providing personalised attention and guidance as they grow and learn. With specialist teachers in P.E., Music, and French, our little ones are afforded the same enriching opportunities as those in our Prep school.

We have carefully designed each of our Nursery classes to be bright, welcoming, and child centred. Our range of play areas include a designated reading corner, arts and crafts station, home area, sand and water stations, and loose parts/messy play areas to inspire sensory cognition and exploration. Using neutral colours in spacious classrooms, these areas encourage children to explore, experiment, and play.

We recognise the demands of our parents’ schedules, and so, we are open 51 weeks a year from 7:30am to 6pm, and we offer flexible pick-up timings. We also offer 15-hour and 30-hour funding for 3 and 4-year-olds, demonstrating our commitment to accessibility.

All our Nursery pupils are guaranteed automatic entry into our Reception. We ensure a smooth transition into Reception through our welcoming and supportive environment, alongside a wide range of activities that are designed to stimulate children’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence to be ‘Reception ready’. This is furthered through our combination of structured and child-led activities which help children develop their skills and knowledge at their own pace.
