Stay & Play Sessions

Nursery & Pre-Prep Entry 

Our Stay and Play sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for children aged 6 months to 4 years to experience a taste of life at Clevelands in a fun, friendly, and nurturing environment. They’ll have the chance to play with children their own age while meeting our experienced Early Years staff and Headteacher.

Parents stay with their child during these sessions, allowing both you and your little one to get a feel for our welcoming community. If you're interested in attending, please complete the form below for one of the sessions.

Reception in Action Afternoon 

Thursday 15th January 1:00pm - 3:00pm 

Our “Reception In Action Afternoon” event invites parents and children under 5 to experience the joy of learning at Cleveland’s. 

National Storytelling Open Day 

Tuesday 3rd February 9:30am - 3:30pm 

Families are invited to explore our school and enjoy storytelling-inspired activities designed to spark imagination and a love of reading. 
 
What to Expect:

11+ Assessment Day 

Tuesday 24th March, 9:00am - 3:00pm 

Discover the academic potential of your child at Clevelands exclusive 11+ Assessment Day from 9am to 3pm. Our comprehensive and detailed assessment is tailored to show your child's capabilities along with areas to focus on if you are considering the Manchester Consortium Grammar School 11+ test in 2026 or beyond.

At Clevelands, our outstanding education enables children to achieve their academic potential. A forward-thinking curriculum combined with an expert teaching experience means excellent results, and our pupils consistently gain places at their first choice of senior schools.

Our 11+ Assessment Day gives children the opportunity to undergo assessments in Maths and English to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. Following the assessment, parents will receive detailed feedback on their child’s performance. This feedback will offer valuable insights into your child’s academic capabilities and provide a clear understanding of how we can support their educational growth.

We are proud of the excellent 11+ results achieved by our pupils, with an impressive track record of pupils successfully gaining admission to local fee-paying Grammar schools. Recent destinations include Bury Grammar, Bolton School, Westholme, Bridgewater and Manchester Grammar.
