We are a well established, family orientated co-educational independent primary school on the outskirts of Bolton, Lancashire.

Academic achievement is highly valued at Clevelands. However we also believe education should extend beyond the academic curriculum to develop self-confident, inquisitive, and independent individuals.

Primary school education should initiate a life-long love of learning. We aim to support this through educationally stimulating surroundings and activities that allow children to learn at their own pace.

We encourage them to develop abilities such as social interaction, imagination, observation, exploration and investigation, and above all to enjoy learning!

Our school’s family values are built on respect and consideration of one another. Friendship, kindness, consideration, tolerance and respect are continually reinforced in the day-to-day life of the school.

It’s an approach that has made us one of the most respected independent schools in the Greater Manchester area at nursery and prep level. In fact, the progress and attainment our children make was judged as outstanding at our recent inspection.
