History of the School

Clevelands School has been providing excellence in education throughout its 50 year history. The school is housed in a beautiful Victorian building, once the home of a Lancashire Cotton magnate.

It’s woodland setting has been developed to give the children wonderful outdoor experiences from pond dipping to searching for wildlife on the woodland trail.

The building was taken over as a school over 50 years ago and new building work carried out. Clevelands Preparatory School undertook extensive refurbishments and moved to this new location in 2001, providing improved facilities and opportunities for the children, and staff.
