Forest School
Forest School
Our children love Forest School and really enjoy embracing the great outdoors.
Our Nursery children benefit from the sheer variety of exciting outdoor areas as well as a chance to connect with the natural world. Outdoor learning is at the core of our curriculum, as we believe that it is one of the most important companions in children’s growth and development.
Children’s learning can reach new heights with engaging activities that go beyond the traditional classroom setting. Here, your child will explore the wonders of nature by building shelters, identifying plants and wildlife, honing bushcraft skills, and enjoying creative play. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to nurture holistic development, making learning an adventure they’ll never forget.
Forest School Leader & Programme
At Clevelands Preparatory School, we are proud to incorporate Forest School into our curriculum. Our Forest School Leader is a level three trained and qualified practitioner with the Forest School Association. Our programme is designed to align with our educational philosophy of nurturing well-rounded individuals who are curious, confident, and caring.
Each year group enjoys 6 consecutive weeks of Forest School. This happens twice per year giving the children 12 weeks per year spread over different seasons.
