Year Six Return to Victorian Times

Year Six have had a wonderful Victorian day. They seemed quite nervous when 'Miss Banks' did her morning inspections, especially as some of them had not polished their shoes.

It was name changes all around as the register was called. We had an 'Archibald' and an 'Ethel,' but the children dare not laugh as the threat of the cane seemed very real!

They discovered how difficult it was to write with a nib and dipping ink and could not believe that children were not allowed to write with their left hand.

The afternoon was filled with stories and investigation of Victorian artefacts, we all had an awful lot of fun!
