Year 4 have been involved in performance poetry this week, reciting verses from the Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, the famous poem found in ‘Through The Looking Glass and What Alice Found). 

It is a classic performance poem, full of nonsense words, and the children have been analysing the poem to understand what the nonsense words are (nouns, verbs or adjectives). They further used the poem to enhance their creative writing.
