Weather Forecasters of The Future

Year Two have been learning about the rainforest.  We have found out that all the rainforests are located near the equator, which is the invisible line that goes all around the middle of the world!  There are lots of countries that have rainforests such as: Brazil, Indonesia and India.

This week, we learnt the difference between climate and weather.  We were surprised to hear that seasons don’t exist in the rainforest!  The climate is the same all year round, hot, humid and rainy almost every day!  We enjoyed splitting into small groups and pretending to be weather forecasters, broadcasting live from Australia!
