Learning in the great outdoors
We had the most amazing time at Quex Park Forest School. Upon arrival, we separated into groups and took part in several activities. These included crafting Christmas decorations out of logs, 'cooking' in the mud kitchen, petting the animals, toasting marshmallows on an open fire and zooming down a zip wire. It was a fantastic opportunity to be outside in the fresh air and be with our friends. Despite a few nettle stings here and there and rather chilly conditions, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and we hope that we have the chance to visit again soon. The forest school staff were suitably impressed with the children’s behaviour and conduct during the trip, which was pleasing to see.
