Reception Class have been investigating the properties of water, observing what happens when there is a change in temperature. It was a day of extremes when the children experimented with frozen ice cubes in the morning and warmed up with boiling water in the afternoon. The children were able to list the dangers associated with freezing and boiling water and worked very sensibly together. Needless to say, there have been quite a few requests to repeat the hot chocolate experiment to warm everyone up this week!
