Reception Class were kept very busy in their Maths lessons this week as they counted out the candles for the Queen's birthday cake.

The children worked with number lines and 100 squares to practise first, then everyone joined in to reach a total of 92 candles.

Everyone enjoyed finding out more about Queen Elizabeth, especially the photographs of her favourite corgis running through Buckingham Palace!
