The latest round of the chess league took place last night at Bolton School, Girls Division. Our A Team had a near 50% win rate. They won 5 out of 12 games playing against some very accomplished and experienced players. Their commitment and effort was phenomenal and on the night two of our Year Six boys managed to record two victories. Our B team are performing superbly and for the third time this year they came out as league winners, this time as joint winners with Bolton Girls. Overall, they are on top in the race for the B Team League Shield. They won 11 out of 12 matches. It is an incredible achievement. For the first time ever we entered a third team which was all girls. They played some tough games and will be better for the experience next time. Overall, we continue to progress as a school and we are all very proud of the children and how well they are performing.
