Bolton Dance Festival

Last Thursday, 25 children from Year One up to Year Six took part in the first ever schools' dance festival in Bolton. It was an incredible event with over 18 schools taking part. We had two dances, our Lower School children and our Upper School children.  They were amazing and we were so proud of their behaviour and the way they represented school.

The most important part was the dancing and they performed superbly. Many thanks to Miss Pennington and her brother, Aaron who along with Mrs Critchley choreographed the Upper School dance. Mr Cahillane had the pleasure of working with the Lower School children and choreographed their dance. Many thanks to them all for their time and input.

Finally, we had a star in the making. Eva Dalton who performed in the KS1 dance was due to watch the second performance, but prior to the start, entertained a 200 strong audience for 20 minutes dancing solo on the stage. Eva, we applaud you! Confidence, style but humble with it. Just what Clevelands is all about.
